Get the Look: Councillor Ayanna Pressley

Here's the colors behind the gorgeous look on Councillor Ayanna Pressley for the May issue of Boston Magazine.  She's a natural beauty so I pulled complimentary hues for her lips and eyes to make her features pop.

Behind the Brush: Boston Magazine Politicians

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being  on set with some Boston political figures for the May issue of Boston Magazine.

I styled the makeup for Governor Charlie Baker, Lieutenant Governor Karyn Polito and Councillor Ayanna Pressley.  Check out some of my behind the scenes shots!

Behind the Brush: Wicked Good Cupcakes Shoot

Yesterday I was on set for the Sharktank photo shoot with Wicked Good Cupcakes and Mr. Wonderful himself, Kevin O'Leary.

I did soft makeup on the girls with an emphasis on their eyes and beautiful lashes.  For Danielle and Tracey's hair, I created natural, textural waves with a good amount of body.  Kevin arrived already pulled together and just needed a bit of powder to be camera ready.

Check out some pictures from behind the scenes!

Behind the Brush: With Teresa Palmer from "The Choice"

Could this be better than “THE NOTEBOOK”? Nicholas Sparks has done it again! Check out “The Choice” opening TODAY.

Working with Teresa Palmer again was great but this time it was a bonus because I had the pleasure of meeting the cutest member in her family... no, not Mark Webber, but her son, Bodhi. He was so excited to check out the Boston Commons playground and especially the Frog Pond area while his mom and I got to work. Here’s a few behind the scenes of us on set for the interviews with Teresa and Benjamin Walker. It was clear that they both had great chemistry on and off the screen which makes the movie that much better. Bring some tissues…You might need them!
