Skincare Prep For Your Wedding Day

Start prepping your face six months in advance. Begin with a daily beauty regimen that includes cleansing, exfoliating, toning, hydrating and moisturizing. Remember also to treat your neck and décolleté area too.

Tips:
Serum: Use a hydrating serum under your moisture for an extra boost.

Moisturizers: Use a lighter moisturizer with SPF for the day and a more creamy one for the evening with extra treatments for your skin type.

Mask: Use a hydrating mask (after exfoliating) at least once a week for normal to dry skin types and a deep cleaning mask for large pores and/or acne.

Advice:

Eat and Drink: You are what you eat and drink, which dramatically affects your skin. Drink water, which keeps your skin hydrated and supple. Water helps you with the digestion process and removes toxins that could lead to a breakout. It is generally recommended to drink at least eight glasses a day. Eat healthily and take your vitamins. A healthy diet plays a massive role in how your skin looks. For example, a diet packed with fruits and veggies and low on dairy (dairy products tend to clog pores) will help your skin look its best.

Nothing new: Two weeks before your wedding day, we recommend you do not try any new food or products weeks. You never know how your skin or body will react, and this is not a time to take any chances.

Stress: Stress affects your skin and entire body, so we recommend that you stick with your regular routine two weeks before your wedding day as it is predictable and calming to your mind/body/soul, which helps keep the stress level in check.

Our favorite products!

Exfoliant by Lancôme: use just enough pressure to move the product around on your wet face... so in other words, do not scrub.

Deep Cleaning Mask: To deep cleanse your pores and be used on breakouts.
