I've been a makeup artist and hairstylist since 2009. My journey began after graduating from the Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics as a Master Esthetician.
I learned the art of hair and makeup through a combination of formal education at Catherine Hinds, attending makeup training programs, gaining insights from other talented artists I've met throughout the years, and accumulating extensive hands-on experience in the field.
From a very young age, I had a fascination with beauty. I have a cherished photo of myself as a little girl, sitting at a toy vanity set, applying pretend lipstick and eyeshadow. This early interest transformed into a lifelong passion. I thrive on creativity and find immense joy in helping others look and feel beautiful. It's this deep-seated passion that keeps me dedicated to the beauty industry. As a versatile artist, I specialize in both traditional makeup with lash application and airbrush makeup with lash application.
I've been a proud member of the Maryelle Artistry team since 2016. The most rewarding parts of my job include making people feel beautiful, meeting new people, offering tips and advice when asked, and being able to create a calming and enjoyable experience for clients.
One of my standout moments with Maryelle Artistry was working on a commercial shoot for Telemundo.
This particular gig stands out because I had the privilege of working with diverse and culturally rich groups of people. We were immersed in beautiful music and garments throughout the shoot, and the experience took us all over Boston. Everyone involved was incredibly kind, making it a truly enjoyable day.
One of my top beauty tips is the importance of skincare. A great makeup application starts with proper skincare. Regular exfoliation and hydration are key. Don't forget to apply SPF daily, all year round!
