I DON'T WEAR A LOT OF MAKEUP, BUT I STILL WANT TO LOOK BEAUTIFUL ON MY WEDDING DAY. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CREATE A NATURAL LOOK?
We can create a natural, soft bridal look for your wedding day. You don't need to wear a lot of makeup on your big day to look great; it just needs to be applied correctly and with the appropriate products. Most importantly, we want to make sure you look and feel beautiful.
WHAT DOES “TRADITIONAL MAKEUP” APPLICATION MEAN?
Traditional makeup application basically refers to non-airbrush makeup application. It encompasses a variety of styles, ranging from natural and subtle to bold and glamorous. Additional elements such as false eyelashes, contouring, and highlighting can be incorporated for a more dramatic or sculpted look, depending on individual preferences and the desired outcome.
DO YOU OFFER AIRBRUSH SERVICES?
Yes, in addition to traditional makeup services, we also offer airbrush makeup. Airbrush will give you a completely flawless look. A lightweight mist of foundation is sprayed onto the skin to give a flawless finish with a sheer to opaque coverage. Airbrush makeup is great for covering tan lines, sun spots, freckles, tattoos, scars, acne, and rosacea. Its long-lasting effects are great for many though brides who tend to cry and or perspire may opt for traditional makeup as airbrush is not as forgiving with touch-ups/blending.

We use a mix of top-of-the-line professional brands designed to keep your makeup lasting all day. We are constantly adding and changing our products as new products are released to keep our looks new and fresh!
I WOULD LOVE TO LEARN HOW TO DO MY OWN MAKEUP. DO YOU OFFER PRIVATE MAKEUP LESSONS?
Yes, we provide one-on-one lessons tailored to your specific needs and preferences. We teach you techniques that work best for your face shape, skin tone, and features. We also provide group lessons.
Learning how to apply makeup correctly can boost your confidence and self-esteem. Our makeup artist can help you feel more comfortable and confident in your own skin by teaching you how to enhance your natural beauty for everyday application or for a special occasion.WHAT TIPS DO YOU HAVE THAT I CAN DO TO HELP MY MAKEUP LAST ALL DAY?
Avoid touching your face throughout the day, as this can transfer oils and bacteria from your hands to your skin, causing your makeup to smudge or fade.
Use blotting papers or a mattifying powder to reduce shine and refresh your makeup throughout the day.
Keep a small touch-up bag with you, containing items such as lip balm, powder, and a small brush or sponge to make small adjustments as needed.
Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and your makeup looking fresh.
Avoid activities that will cause you to sweat or rub your face, such as heavy exercise or wearing tight headwear.
Try to avoid exposing your face to direct sunlight or wind for too long, as this can cause your makeup to fade or smudge.
Re-apply a setting spray to refresh your makeup and keep it in place.
Lastly, If you are wearing a mask, be sure to apply makeup that is oil-free and water-based, as this is less likely to smudge or fade than oil-based products.
I HAVE ALLERGIES TO DIFFERENT MAKEUP AND SKIN CARE PRODUCTS. WHAT DO YOU SUGGEST I USE?
In addition to discussing this with your doctor, we also suggest you download the ACDS CAMP (contact allergy management program) app. This app allows you to find products free of the ingredients causing your allergic reactions. You will then have a list of "safe" products right at your fingertips. It makes shopping for products simple. Also, please inform our office staff of any allergies so we can prepare our team. Our team of artists will use your products for your makeup application.
DO YOU PROVIDE ON-SITE SERVICES?
Yes, we are an on-location team of makeup artists and hairstylists and we bring all the equipment needed for your special day.
IS IT NECESSARY TO HAVE A TRIAL?
We strongly suggest having a trial. Think of your hair and or makeup trial as a dress rehearsal. It allows you to connect with your artist, decide on the details, and try out the "look" that works best with your personal style and comfort level. Your trial day is also an excellent opportunity to experiment and get your artist's feedback. False lashes, for example, are a great idea to try out at your trial if you are considering wearing them on your wedding day. You may decide the lashes are uncomfortable and choose not to wear them or get eyelash extensions. The bottom line is your wedding day is not the day to try something new. It's a day when you want to feel excited and confident already knowing who your artist is and the exact "look" she will create for you.
WILL THE ARTIST I WORK WITH AT MY TRIAL BE THE SAME AT MY WEDDING?
Yes, the artist you work with at your trial will be the same artist who will work with you on your wedding day.
WHERE CAN I GO FOR A TRIAL OR CONSULTATION FOR MY MAKEUP OR HAIR SERVICE?
Depending on the artist you are paired with, we may have a salon location, but mostly, we travel directly to you.
HOW WILL I RECEIVE GUIDANCE ON PREPARING FOR MY TRIAL AND WEDDING DAY BEAUTY SERVICES?
To ensure you're fully prepared for your wedding day and trial beauty services, you will receive a link on both your wedding day schedule and trial sheet. This link will provide you with helpful tips and preparation information tailored to both occasions. Feel free to check out this link and share it with your bridal party so you can make the most out of your beauty experience.
MY MOM AND MY BEST FRIEND WOULD ALSO LIKE TO HAVE A TRIAL. CAN WE SCHEDULE THAT?
If your mom (or someone in your party) would also like a trial, they are welcome to schedule it on the same day and at the same location as the bride's trial.
DO YOU OFFER TOUCH-UP SERVICES?
Yes, touch-up services are available in addition to wedding day services.
DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICES FOR LARGE PARTIES?
Yes, we accommodate parties of all sizes.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF AN ARTIST IS SICK OR HAS AN EMERGENCY ON MY WEDDING DAY?
We have many artists on our team for emergency backup, and we also have a wealth of connections within our industry. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, we have had the experience of an artist being unable to work. Still, due to our team support and extra support from our larger artist community, we have always covered our events with talented artists.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO EACH SERVICE?
Wedding Day: For the bride, we schedule 1 hour per service; for attendants, we schedule 45 minutes per makeup service and 1 hour per hair service. Trial Day: 1 hour per service. So for a makeup and hair trial, it will be two hours.
WILL ADDITIONAL TIME BE REQUIRED FOR MY HAIR SERVICES IF I HAVE LONGER HAIR (PASSED MY SHOULDERS) OR IF I WANT A MORE TIME-CONSUMING HAIRSTYLE, SUCH AS HOLLYWOOD WAVES? Yes, we can book more time, and there will be an additional fee. Please let us know in advance if you will need additional time added.
WHY IS IT MORE EXPENSIVE AND TAKES LONGER TO DO HOLLYWOOD WAVES?
The Hollywood wave hairstyle requires the hair to be smoothed out because the smooth, glossy finish is an important part of the overall look. The waves themselves are typically soft and cascading rather than tight and defined, which helps to create a glamorous, sophisticated look. Smoothing out the hair also helps to create a clean canvas for the waves, as any frizz or flyaways can make it more difficult to achieve a polished finish.
As for why the Hollywood wave hairstyle takes so long to create, it involves setting the hair with hot rollers or pin curls and then combing or brushing the curls out to create the desired wave pattern. This process can take time because each section of hair must be carefully rolled and secured, and then allowed to cool and set before the curls can be brushed out. DO I NEED TO KNOW THE EXACT NUMBER OF SERVICES I WANT FOR MY WEDDING DAY BEFORE I BOOK?
We need to know the approximate number of services to determine how many artists/hairstylists you will need.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY WEDDING DAY? TRIAL?
We recommend booking your wedding-day services 12-18 months before your wedding date, and your trial 3 months before. If you would like all your services (wedding day and trial day) on one invoice, please let us know that, and we will combine them all on one quote.
DO YOU HAVE A MINIMUM? …..WHAT IF I DON’T MEET THE MINIMUM?
Yes, we have a minimum per artist. If you don’t meet the minimum, a charge will be added to reach the difference.
MY WEDDING WILL BE EARLY IN THE DAY. ARE THERE ANY FEES FOR ARTISTS’ EARLY ARRIVAL?
Yes, there are early call time fees for scheduled arrivals on or before 7:00 am.
HOW DO I SECURE THE ARTIST FOR MY WEDDING DATE?
A deposit is required to secure an artist for your wedding day.
DO YOU CREATE A SCHEDULE FOR MY WEDDING DAY?
Yes, we will create a call sheet that includes all the details for your wedding day and a schedule with all your services for you and your wedding party. We can coordinate this with you and/or your wedding planner and get final approval three weeks before your wedding day.
HOW LONG WILL MY MAKEUP AND HAIR SERVICES TAKE?
Traditional makeup and hair services typically take 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the service. More detailed or intricate styles may require additional time, which can be discussed in detail to ensure your specific needs are met.
HOW SHOULD ALL MY ATTENDANTS AND I PREPARE FOR OUR WEDDING DAY SERVICES?
You will have all that information four weeks before your wedding day. We will provide you with a call sheet that will include all the details of your prep location, contact info, the timeline/schedule, and information on how everyone can prepare for their wedding day services.
IF AN ATTENDANT PULLS OUT OF GETTING HER SERVICES DONE, OR IF ONE WANTS TO BE ADDED, CAN ADJUSTMENTS BE MADE?
Yes, adjustments can be accommodated until 6 weeks before your wedding day. Please keep in mind that if more services are added, your start time may begin earlier.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept electronic payment via credit card or e-check (you can use a paper check to make an e-check payment).
CAN I HAVE MY WEDDING DAY AND TRIAL DAY SERVICES ON ONE INVOICE?
You can add both services to the initial invoice if you like. Just let us know in advance.
WHAT IF I HAVE MORE QUESTIONS LATER?

International Weddings:
Do you offer international wedding services?
Yes, we are available for international weddings. Services are customized based on location, scope, and number of days required. Please inquire for a personalized proposal.
What is included in international wedding pricing?
International wedding pricing includes the artist’s service fees as well as time reserved for travel and preparation. Travel expenses such as flights, lodging, transportation, and meals are quoted separately to ensure a seamless experience.
Why are there travel and accommodation fees in addition to service fees?
For international weddings, the artist is reserved exclusively for your event over multiple days, including travel and acclimation time. These fees reflect the time commitment required to ensure the highest level of service.
When does the artist arrive for international weddings?
To provide the best experience, artists typically arrive 1–2 days prior to the first scheduled service to allow time for travel and acclimation. Departure is usually scheduled 1–2 days after the wedding, depending on the wedding's timing.
Can I schedule a trial before booking an international wedding?
Yes, we recommend scheduling a trial in advance whenever possible. Trials are held locally and follow our standard rates to ensure the look and artist are the perfect fit before confirming your booking.
