Amanda Bowen
Makeup Artist
I had the privilege of being personally trained by none other than Trish McEvoy and her incredible artistry team. They imparted their wisdom and expertise, setting me on the path to becoming a makeup artist.
Makeup has always held a special place in my heart. My love for people and the art of enhancing their natural beauty led me to start my career in the beauty industry. I genuinely enjoy the process of makeup and skincare, and I find immense satisfaction in educating women about the tips and tricks to achieve effortless makeup.
My true passion lies in wedding makeup. Being part of such a memorable day for our beautiful brides and their wedding parties is incredibly rewarding. I believe that makeup should empower individuals, allowing their inner beauty to shine through. I specialize in traditional makeup with lash application and airbrush makeup with lash application. However, my journey in the beauty industry has been a diverse one.
I've had the privilege of working in this industry for 21 years. My journey began during my college years when I worked part-time for Clinique. I always had an innate passion for beauty and, in particular, makeup. I would often do makeup for my friends for proms and nights out. My first full-time makeup job was at a charming beauty boutique called Beauty and Main, where I still work today. My career took an exciting turn when I joined Trish McEvoy as a national makeup artist. For seven remarkable years, I traveled to various cities, participating in large makeup events with Trish. However, as life evolved, I decided to shift my focus to wedding and event makeup, slowing down the pace a bit. I returned to Beauty and Main part-time, where I continue to share my passion for beauty. In addition to makeup artistry, I also specialize in spray tanning. I'd be delighted to discuss this further with you if it's something that piques your interest. I use only organic, anti-aging formulas, ensuring a safe and beautiful tan.
Here's a beauty tip from my experience: Great makeup starts with great skin. Exfoliated and well-hydrated skin always looks better with makeup.
